@waggiedog166 maybe it’s cos Jack doesn’t want to drown ppl to much with sorrows. I think If the lyrics are to deep it just needs to a lil something to balance it and humour is always good with those things

i think ben stiller misinterpreted the lyrics at the end… it’s really sung “such a tough enchilada, fill up one nodda” not “with nada”
because jack is talking about the situation being a tough enchilada… and filling up “one nodda (meaning ‘one more’ in pidgin english) drink” .. referring to someone drinking heavily when in tough situations (:
