I actually couldnt stand DS9 lol. To me, Star Trek was all about one ship exploring the galaxy on an epic adventure. But DS9 just took place on an space station and the ugly ship Defiant. However, DS9 did have some kick ass battles and its a little more funny than the rest of the Star Trek series.

  • cbcl08 says:

to each his own. I dunno, i loved the idea of the station with all of the recurring minor characters. Plus it was a nice break from the stereotypical plot of…
Ship is on its way to place A
    encounters anomaly B
Fails to escape with strategy C
and in the last minute finally succeeds with plan D

Besides i love the ferengi with all of my heart

although i know very little about the star trek universe i can still tell how amazing this video is and realize how much work it must have taken.

Loved the video, and it was an impressive show of clipping. The one thing I thought it was missing, though, was the destruction of the 1701, the D, and the Defiant, as well as maybe the death of Tasha Yar and Jadzia Dax, because I think those are all moments people will remember, even if they were sad ones.

  • Krasinet22 says:

The two destruction moments are refernced by a clip of the 1701 in the process of self-destructing, and the 1701-D’s saucer section falling through the atmosphere. You do see Jadzia after she’s dead (with Worf standing over her), but the daeath of Tasha would be a good one to include. Admittedly there’s a clip of her on the 1701-C about tho go back in time (from ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’), but since that isn’t really ‘our’ Tasha I don’t think it counts.

  • Section31Captain says:

Star Trek is about exploring the human condition. NO other series expressed it better than DS 9 did.

  • Section31Captain says:

    Trekkie.
