In a surprise move, Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to an attempted gun possession charge. The charge stems from an incident two years ago in New York City, when cops confiscated .40-caliber semi-automatic gun on his tour bus. He was facing a gun possession charge which carried a mandatory 3 ½ year prison term. By pleading guilty to the lesser charge of attempted passion he will only have to serve one year in prison. Sentencing is set for February.

no one should be glad lil wayne is going to jail, even if they hate him. Wayne is going to jail for having a gun on his property, A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT, which was very important to our founders. The charges are outrageous, they needed intent and they invented intent cuz the gun was in the area with some of wayne’s fingerprints BUT HE DIDN”T OWN THE GUN. He pled guilty cuz he was facing a mandatory max of 4 years if convicted. If anyone doesn’t care about this, just burn the constitution.
