They’d ruin him like they ruined Setzer.

  • Mikkynga says:

    i think nobuo it’s kefka itself *-*

  • terran236 says:

Shes not a female version of cloud, Cloud is already a female, they just redid his or her hair.

  • terran236 says:

I have to agree with you, its up to the player how it is interpreted. I saw it the same way. Religion = sham

All modern RPG final boss music comes from one song by Squaresoft called Dancing Mad. RPG final boss songs come from that. There was nothing before. There has been nothing as good since.

Snaps for those who know whose quote I’m bastardizing. But seriously, Dancing Mad is a classic. Never have we heard such a great song which was so well attached to the story that anything else would sound wrong. Yes, One Winged Angel is great, but can you really even compare it to this?

  • DanTheManCalter says:

I would think Dancing Mad and One Winged Angel are two different to really compare, but Dancing Mad certainly gets the win in my book, even being a rabid VII fan.
This epic is so incredible in that it completely mirrors Kefka’s madness and helps to set the tone for just how dangerous of a foe he is, even if the game itself didn’t make that clear already.

  • Last4xis says:

I have to agree. I think what makes this song great is that it suits the character and the situation. The same goes for OWA. Great song, and it definitely suited the mood. Also, the Latin Chorus was a nice tough (even though almost EVERY GOD DAMNED GAME USES THEM NOW i.e., WoW. Jesus they have way too many of them.)

  • Tinhh says:

Once you go bach, you don’t go back?

  • me259259 says:

Hey hey hey! There are only two universal truths:

    Everything is better with pirates.

    And

Everything is more epic with a chorus singing in Latin in the background.

If you don’t like it, you can get out of the universe.

Definitely my favorite game of all time! This is Nobuo’s best soundtrack by far. Everything else afterwards doesn’t quite match up to this. This has the best of the best music out of all the FInal Fantasy games.
This game also had the best magic/ summon system too. Everyone could learn all the spells and the Espers added a strategy to how you would level up characters.

    A magnificent piece of music.
When I first fought Kefka and heard 5:31-onwards, I cried. I was already feeling somewhat depressed because of the state of the World of Ruin, as well as the knowledge that the game would likely be over after that fight, and the music’s change in theme just brought me to tears.

  • m0zA2T says:

i beg to differ i think ninjas are way cooler

  • meastro5491 says:

0:55 sounds like part of kefka’s original theme.
