Here is a question i always had weren’t black people forced to become christians

im just saying when we were slaves we were forced religion by slave masters

  • hollywoodchick12 says:

God has blessed this man with such an amazing annointingg(: Hallelujah, amen!

  • webartogo says:

That may be true, more than likely true, but it doesn’t matter because God is still God. What is done for you, what you feel, what you know in your heart is true is what counts, not how you got here.
And we are always free to take whatever path we wish, we have free will. You don’t have to stay if you aren’t comfortable.
God is still the same and since you are given free will by him to choose, it’ll be alright by him whatever you choose.

I love Donnie McClurkin but he made such a mistake endorsing Barack Obama. Not only do Obama’s positions on abortion, the sovereignty of the family, etc. make him an ineligible candidate for sincere Christians, but the fact that he went to a church for 20 years that essentially hated whitey, blaming the U.S. for 9/11 and sympathizing with Islamic terrorists, also should make Christians really question Obama’s faith.

  • marciaElias100 says:

if that were the case how do you explain some Christians in Africa they weren’t slaves it wasn’t forced on them yet they believe.

He that is without sin, cast the first stone

  • Alex5408 says:

Since the begining of time there have been groups that force other groups to worship other gods.

When I was growing up I was forced by my dad to attend church. In fact my dad was Pastor of our church at one time. When I grew up I wanted to explore other religions/denominations because I couldn’t understand how there could be so many different people and one religion for all of them…con’t…

  • Alex5408 says:

CON’T from above… :) now I uderstand. It’s not religion it’s a relationship and once you establish an honest relationship of faith with God, you know it and you understand it. Love my brother Donnie with the love of Christ. Thank you Jesus.

This song is just as powerful now then the first time I heard it. Great is the Mercy of God!

  • kgj08 says:

So you’re saying we must live in an expectation-free world? What you’re saying is complete nonsense.

  • Geaziskkyl says:

    Muito linda a musica…

  • MilanLouboutin says:

No the slaves were introducedd to Christainity and they loved it. What’s there not to love, religion doesn’t give what Christainity gives. There is nothing like a blesed realtionsip with your maker, who you can tell everything and who talks and reviels things to you. He loves you so much…:)

  • JRainN1379 says:

i agree but religon confuses alot of people i see cause there is so much contraversery about what to worship thats why you got to get your own relationship with god and he will show you the way t o go… i have done this and it led me to christiany… but what does it really mean to be a chrisitan many people say they are but they cant live up to its reputation to follow a god who gave his son to die for us

  • supaflychic12 says:

wOw!… ii abs. lOve how its spilt n2 different people sinqinq.

  • Daniella216 says:

WOW. I used to be saved but things started happening to me and I guess you can say I lost my faith in God. But I feel God trying to lead me back and I’m afraid now. My situation hasn’t changed for the better, it seems it just got worst. I’m trying to decide how I want to live, with God or without God. This is a song that ministers to my Soul and now I’m just more confused which way to go.

  • Ghettoflame1 says:

The reason why it seemed to get worse is because opposition takes place whenever you go in the right direction.

I can relate as a former rationalist ( as well as some other things).

God is all about the outcome. I tried to live in the moment and I was grieved, disappointed by false demises. Don’t be afraid to let him back in.

If you left because you felt that man was trying to define God for you, then learn for yourself. Get the fullness of God that no one else can emulate.

  • dieselbling says:

    8:29.. What did he say??

  • FoggyRoad81 says:

McClurkin should not be a preacher due to his dishonesty. He popularizes lies a bout homosexuality in order to financially gain. You can not change your sexuality, you can only engage in chastity and denial. Which is fine. But call it that. Don’t lie and say you are heterosexual. It is not true. A man of God should speak the truth, not profit from lies.

  • 34Desi says:

I’ve never heard Pastor McClurkin say that he changed his own sexuality. He has said, however, that change is possible through the power of the Holy Spirit. And I can testify to that.
