what black women need to understand is that black hair is divinely unique, and shouldn’t be treated to emulate other types. We are the ONLY race that has hair as unique as our own. That means something. That means we are a special out side of the box. Women should wear thier hair naturally as a statment of their pride and relish of their own unique beauty. White women have their hair, good for them. But it just like every other races. But we are unique, we require SPECIAL TREATMENT!

I agree. I’m 16 and I still have afro hair. People at my previous school keep telling me to perm my hair and I always refuse, maybe I straighten my hair every now and again but it’s always afro.
