Question: How is the array of questions asked NOT simply playing upon the emotional discontent of realising one’s mortality as a human being whilst making the person feel vulnerable & afraid of a natural end?
Isn’t that creating fear? How is that a nice thing?

Sad, this man resorts to spreading his message at a time in which these people have just experienced a loss. Its a classic part of religion, scaring people into believing in their god? As well, all organized societies had commandments that governed how their members should behave, in some cases thousands of years before the Bible was written. They all stated that their set of laws were given to them by their god. The 10 commandments frankly pale in comparisons to preceding sets of laws.
Why do you deny the only living God? the only living God is the God of the Bible.. So, my question is, Why do you deny?
I sad nothing of the sort. I specifically mentioned two aspects of religion; 1) fear as a means of recruitment and indoctrination. 2) The fact that the 10 commandments, given in the Bible, were not the first set of rules given by a god to its followers.
I didnt mention the existence or non existence of God.
So my question is, why do you imply that my statement, which any theologian would agree with, denies the existence of God?
That’s quite an assertion. That there even is such a being and that the Bible accurately describes such a being.

because it seems you claim that there are other god’s out there. The fact of the matter is, people tend to see the God of the Bible just another god people make up. And it seems that you are stating that our God is just another god like the rest of the god’s people follow.
what if the everything you hear and see revolves around a Creator? what if that Creator is the God of the Bible? Or do we tend to fool ourselves into believing that there is no such thing because we cannot see it with our own eyes?
Fair enough. Some people do believe that God is just another god. My beliefs are irrelevant, but discussing God in the historical context of gods is not a denial of Gods existence. I believe people should seek to learn more about the Bible by studying it in its historical context. Doing so shouldnt shake a Christians belief, it should serve to buttress it, as belief in God is a matter of faith, not science, evidence or fact. My main concern with the video is the Rays use of fear.
I have a question. If they had never heard what they heard in the vid would they come to realize God and His standards? The point of them hearing the ten commandments and the Gospel was not an attempt to scare them nor force salvation down their throat. But simply to acknowledge what is true and what will happen.
Sorry so long A few of them were Christians already. He caught these poeple at a time when they were distraught and thinking of our shared mortality. He very tactfully moved from an innocent seeming Q and A, which allowed them to bring their love of MJ fresh into their minds. He used the 10 commandments to segue into a discussion of their mortality, which caused them to be fearful of their own mortality. Likely, a number of them went home and cried and ended up resenting ever meeting Ray
I dont respect people who use fear to convert followers. He should have used a message of love, which likely, MJ fans would have more closely related to. I do not disparage anyone, Christian, Muslim, Jewish or atheist their beliefs. My original point though; fear is a centuries old tactic of bringing people into the fold. It has caused more people to resent organized religion and reject religion, than it has brought to salvation. I have enjoyed our discussion.
