I’m from the Netherlands, overhere house music is huge, like techno, hardstyle, hardcore and so on. I love house music myself as well, I’m a house dj to. But I love classic music, and like grntpe says, gotta appreciate where the music we now listen to comes from.

  • BGLart says:

it depend where you from, in some countrys youngsters listen to classic music, and they don’t like rap/hip hop because its for gangster/slut wannabes.

NO. that the problem with ” hip hop heads” they try to classify themselves in a whole different category to feel like you belong to this elite group that is not mainstream. all hip hop is mainstream form dumb to “concise” rap

  • chefkoo says:

it’s not a status thing. when you say you’re talking about a rapper singing rhymes to a drum machine. when you say hip hop, you say dj’s, mc’s, grafitti and breakdancing. when you refer to the music of hip hop, you say dj’s and mc’s. rap is to hip hop, the way blues is to country, they came from the latter but is different.

  • V4nQ says:

I agree with that. Guys and chicks about my age don’t like this music, but I love it.
    It’s great.

  • chirulais123 says:

same thing. regardless of what “true hip hop people ” say They think its just a social statues. you listen to hip hop you must be better that the people that listen to rap. just like people that listen to classica.
